How to Activate Two-Step verification on LinkedIn on Web Interface?

  1. Login to your LinkedIn account.
  2. Click the drop-down icon below the profile picture.
  3. Account > Settings & Privacy
  4. Account Preferences > Sign-in & Security > Account access.
  5. Click on Change against two-step verification on the right-hand side.
  6. By default it is OFF. Click on it.
  7. Click on Turn on.

  1. Choose Authenticator app or SMS as the verification method.
  2. Enter your password to make the change.
  3. Enter the verification code sent to your mobile and click on Verify.

Now your 2FA is activated on LinkedIn.

How to Enable LinkedIn Two Factor Authentication on Android?

Since we activated 2FA on desktop, you are required to sign-out on the LinkedIn mobile app and re-enter again. You need to enter the SMS code sent to your phone.

  1. Tap the profile picture.
  2. Settings > Sign-in & security.
  1. Two step verification on the next screen. Tap on it.
  1. It is already enabled. You can change the verification method or turn it off.
  2. If you want to enable two-step verification, just follow step 7-10 as above.
