The printer driver is the one that lets you connect between hardware and software. To print normally and with all colors, you need the right drivers. When you upgrade your OS or during reinstall, you also need to update your printer drivers.

I selected the PIXMA printer, model no. G1200. Select your OS as Windows 11. The current printer driver will be available.

For example, I clicked on “All In Ones.” Different model numbers are visible on this page. Click on the right model number, e.g., the ET series. I selected the model number Epson ET-2500. Select Windows 11 as the OS. Click on Go. Click the Download button to install the Windows 11 driver.

Select the type of printer you are using, like, for example, laser products.

Several model numbers are on display. Click your particular printer model, e.g., HL-3040CN. Click on “Go” beside it. Under Downloads, you can select Windows 11. Click on OK. Now your Windows 11 printer driver should download.
Last Few Thoughts …
In all the above 5 popular printer brands, Windows 11 drivers are available for all the new models. The old models may not have an exact Windows 11 printer driver. In that case, you can try Windows 10 or 8.1 drivers in compatibility mode. If that works out, you can keep it.
Otherwise, you can use the Microsoft printer drivers for Windows 11. In most cases, for both 32-bit and 64-bit, only a single Windows 11 printer driver is provided for now. As time goes on, both may be provided, just like in Windows 10.
To install the Windows 11 printer drivers, just run the .exe file and follow the next steps. You can always contact the company support team for any other queries. Sometimes, when you upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, you may face printer driver issues.
