Edge is also available on macOS, Android and iOS. At school, work or home, you can use this Chromium based browser. If you sync all your browser activity to the same personal profile, then it can create some privacy concerns.

How to Delete Edge Profile in Windows 10

If you use Microsoft Edge as your default browser on Windows 10, you might have created multiple profiles to manage your online activities.

However, if you no longer need a profile, you can easily delete it from the browser settings. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Open Microsoft Edge and click on the profile icon in the top-right corner. You will see a list of your profiles and an option to manage them.
2. Click on gear icon for your required profile.

2. Find the profile that you want to delete .
3. Click on the three-dot menu next to it. You will see an option to Remove.

1. Click on Remove and confirm your action by clicking on Delete in the pop-up window. This will delete the profile and all its data from your browser and device.
2. You can repeat this process for any other profile that you want to delete.

Note: Deleting a profile will not affect your other profiles or your Microsoft account. However, if you delete a profile that is synced with your Microsoft account, you will lose access to your bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings on other devices. To avoid this, you can turn off sync before deleting a profile.

1. Under “More Profiles”, you can see the button that says “Switch”.
2. Click it.
3. A new Edge session opens with this profile.
4. The primary session still has the old profile.

1. To delete a profile, you first need to switch or make it as the default profile.
