Step 1: Login the Office 365 admin account now choose the Security & Compliance option by clicking Admin Center.
Step 2: In the security & compliance window click Permission and select the eDiscovery Manager. After that, a popup will appear on the screen and go to eDiscovery Administrator and hit on Edit.
Step 3: Now select the member by clicking Choose eDiscovery Manager and Add >> Add >> Done >> Save.
Step 4: After that create the case, for this go to eDiscovery in the search & investigation option >> Create a case. Then type the case name and description >> Save.
Step 5: Once the case will be created just open it, after that go to search and modify. Now check on the Exchange Email >> Save >> Save & Run.
Step 6: After that, a new window will open on the screen so type the job name and Description and save it. Now click more and select Export Result.
Step 7: When you did, a new popup will appear and choose the options and hit on Export.
Note: Here you don’t need to check the Enable de-duplication for Exchange content option.
Step 8: Once it did, a window will open on the screen then Export and open backup file. Now hit the copy to clipboard >> download result and install the eDiscovery Export Tool on your PC.
Step 9: At the end just open the installed eDiscovert Export Tool, put the copied key and browse the location where you want to save the Exchange Online Backup file.
